The server bundles the API, the web app and PeerJS signaling. Bring a PostgreSQL database and you're running.

Quick start

The install scripts set up Node.js, PostgreSQL and pm2, then build the web app.

Windows (as Administrator)

script\install.bat
script\start.bat

Linux / macOS

script/install.sh      # macOS: script/install-mac.sh
script/start.sh        # macOS: script/start-mac.sh

Development

cd server && npm run dev    # API on :4000
cd web && npm run dev       # SPA on :5173

Prefer a prebuilt binary? Grab the server from the downloads page. Paste the machine's LAN address into the desktop app's Server URL field to connect it.
